A Neighborly Conversation: Disability Studies in West Los Angeles
The UCLA Disability Studies Program invites you to participate in an upcoming Disability Studies conference hosted by The Coelho Center at Loyola Marymount University. This conference will highlight faculty and student research in Disability Studies at LMU and UCLA, and will include opportunities to engage with local organizations and community members working to serve the disabled community in west L.A.
The conference features a keynote address by Juliann Anesi of UCLA, Assistant Professor of Gender Studies, and remarks from the Honorable Tony Coelho, LMU alum, former representative from California, and primary author and sponsor of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
