The Division of Undergraduate Education’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is committed to advancing the University’s goals and actively shaping diversity policy and programs. Upholding principles of equity, diversity and inclusion is paramount to both UCLA and our division. Our committee is tasked with:

1. Identifying Climate Issues: We pinpoint and address climate issues across the Division of Undergraduate Education to create a more inclusive environment.
2. Developing Comprehensive Training: We design and implement a robust plan for diversity training within our division, ensuring that staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to promote inclusivity.
3. Formulating Strategies for Improvement: We continuously develop strategies for enhancing diversity and climate within our division, sharing best practices with unit directors to effect positive change.
4. Serving as Ambassadors: We serve as ambassadors across the Division of Undergraduate Education, advocating for and advancing diversity within our local settings.
